Neoprene Slip Lead

We have used the Long Paws Comfort Leash for quite a while now, it's a clip lead, pure and simple, but we have found the lead section to be strong and durable and the neoprene handle is comfortable on my poor over worked hands!  So when Long Paws brought out the Comfort Slip Leash, I was keen to try it out on Luca.

The lead section and handle is the same as the clip lead, the braid has a small amount of spring that absorbs the initial pull shock but not too much so that you are struggling to judge your dogs distance, and again the handle is made out of neoprene so it's just as soft.

If you have read my previous blogs concerning the virtues of a Slip Lead you know that I find they work really well, especially with making it into a figure of eight which helps greatly as Luca does pull like a train, he is on the plus side of 45 kilos, so trust me you don't want him pulling!  The slip works as any other but  it does have a catch which then makes it a lot easier to pull through, making it into the figure of 8.

So to sum up, yes, it's just a lead, yes it's a slip lead, but I am just as pleased with it as the clip version, it's strong, durable, comfy and easy to use and therefore that makes me happy using another Long Paws product!
