Yes, I know it's only early September and I'm doing an article about DOG COATS, however, after last weeks constant rain, I don't think many people would argue with me that a DOGS RAINCOAT is still important at this time of year.
Cocoa uses the ANCOL STORMGUARD JACKET. It's easy to pop on over her head with a chest and tummy strap that fastens securely with Velcro underneath her tummy, and up her side with two elasticated rear leg straps to ensure a snug and complete fit.
I think the JACKETS are not overly expensive but of a good quality as they are well made, they are also machine washable which is always a bonus, isn't it? This particular design has a fleece lining; enough to keep Cocoa warm, but the main use is as a DOG RAINCOAT and it keeps the inclement weather off her extremely well. It covers all of her back and underneath her tummy and the rain does not soak through to her fur. It also has a reflective trim that offers additional security when out in low light.
ANCOL also have 2 other DOG JACKETS in their range, the DIAMOND QUILT JACKET which is more for colder weather and the TIMBERWOLF EXTREME WAX JACKET, we haven't tried these out as yet but they both look very interesting and Cocoa does have her eye on the TIMBERWOLF WAX JACKET as she thinks it looks pretty trendy!
